Un dato curioso que acabo de aprender sobre la matemática Montessori…
Los “sellos” que usan en el Juego de los Sellos o Estampillas se le llaman así debido a que en un principio sí se usaban sellos. Los niños pegaban estos sellos en sus cuadernos de trabajo. Pero como eran muy costosos se sustituyeron por las piezas cuadradas de madera. Qué interesante!

I just learned something very interesting about The Stamp Game in Montessori math…The little wooden squares called “stamps” were originally stamps that children used to paste to their copy books. But real stamps were too expensive. This is why these were replaced by the wooden squares.
